Whop fee questions.

How much does Whop take per sale?

2.7% + 30¢ per card payment from a US card, with no separate platform fee. A $49 sale leaves you $47.38. International cards add 1.5% and currency conversion 1%.

Does Whop charge a platform fee?

Not on its fee schedule. Whop's fee page lists processing, optional add-ons and payout fees, but no platform fee, and its Discover marketplace fee has been 0% since May 2025. Affiliate sales cost 1.25% in processing.

Does Whop handle sales tax and VAT?

Only if you turn on its tax service, which costs 2% of each sale and covers the US, the EU and the UK. Without it, you handle sales tax and VAT yourself.

How much does it cost to withdraw from Whop?

Next-day ACH costs $2.50 per payout, instant bank deposit 4% + $1, crypto and Venmo 5% + $1, and a bank wire $23. Standard payouts can take up to five business days.

What is the minimum payout on Whop?

$10.

Does Whop charge for disputes and refunds?

A dispute costs $15. On a refund you return the full amount and Whop keeps its processing fee.

Is Whop cheaper than Gumroad?

Much cheaper per sale: on $49, Whop leaves you $47.38 against $41.88 on a direct Gumroad sale. But Gumroad handles sales tax by default, and Whop only does with its tax service.
